First time I ever tried Chinese food, it was Plum Tree way back in 1987 or so. Ate there again today, food is as good as ever, but the building is getting pretty run down. If ambience is way up on your list, hit the drive through. Or you may find it as charming and throwback as I did, so eat in!
Delicious! Best Chinese restaurant in Knoxville. It is a small space though, so if you have a large group make sure you do reservations in advance.
We stopped in on our way back from Nashville to Johnson City. My wife found it on Google Maps and thought we would try it. SO Glad we did. The service was excellent and the food worth every penny. We tried the beef and broccoli and the General TSO chicken.

We had a lovely late lunch here. We ha e been wanting to come here for a long time. It was so good. Had egg drop soup , spring roll. He had prawns and lobster sauce and I had four meat special. The flavors are bold and tasty. Service is friendly and prompt. We will come back here again soon.
